Is DTF for everyone?
If you are going to be printing daily and have a market for it, then yes absolutely (as long as you are willing to spend the time doing the daily maintenance DTF printers require). All our units now have some of the maintenance tasks automated (done by the machine) but there is still some user maintenance required. If you are not going to print at least 5m a day every day, then it's best to have the prints done for you, until you can justify your own machine
DTF Wash Durability
DTF Transfer Film prints are the 2nd most durable digital transfer after sublimation and the most durable digital transfer on cotton.
The combination of our premium inks & powder from Korea as well as our high end film, determines the durability, resulting in strong washability.
There are companies selling dirt-cheap inks/films which have poor washability and result in cancelled orders and unhappy customers.
Storage Proposal
Recommended Storage Conditions
• Temperature: < 25°C
• Humidity: 40%–60% recommended (controlled)
• Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Keep rolls sealed/protected in original packaging when possible.
Shelf Life
With controlled humidity and proper storage, film can be stored for 6 months or longer.
After Long Transportation
If film arrives damp after long transport, place it in a controlled room to stabilize before production/testing.
