There are two methods for in-mold labeling: vacuum suction and electrostatic suction.
Vacuum suction is currently the most common and widely used method. It involves adding vacuum micropores to the mold, resulting in low cost, good performance, and mature technology.
Electrostatic suction allows labels to adhere to the mold without modifying existing blow molding equipment. However, it places special requirements on the in-mold labeling equipment and the physical properties of the labels, such as the addition of a high-voltage electrostatic discharge system and an electrostatic elimination system, and the selection of appropriate label substrates and printing inks.
