Temperature: Temperature setting is crucial to hot stamping quality. The recommended temperature range is generally between 140℃ and 180℃. Too low a temperature may result in failed or weak stamping, or blurry imprints; too high a temperature may cause oxidation of the color layer, leading to a loss of luster, dull colors, and in severe cases, bubbling. Once the optimal temperature is found, it should be maintained, with a temperature difference within ±2℃ being ideal.
Pressure: The choice of hot stamping pressure is also very important, generally recommended to be 4 to 6 kg/cm². Insufficient pressure may cause poor adhesion between the film and the substrate, affecting the adhesion; excessive pressure may deform the substrate, distort the pattern, and thin the printed layer. For complex and uneven items, ensure that the pressure points of the hot stamping wheel and the substrate are uniform to avoid uneven adhesion.
Speed: The speed needs to be adjusted based on the stamping area and the heating power. Generally, determine the speed first, then adjust the pressure, and finally adjust the temperature to ensure a smooth overall hot stamping process.
